Use the custodian that matches the Barron County record:

- Criminal histories and official name checks: Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau through WORCS
- Sheriff reports: Barron County Sheriff Records, Room 1200, at the Justice Center; 715-637-6725; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Jail and booking records: Barron County Jail at the same Justice Center; 715-537-5559
- Municipal police reports: the city police department that created the record, since Sheriff Records cannot release another agency's files
- Wisconsin expungement: the circuit court that entered the judgment, with Barron filings directed to the Clerk of Circuit Court
